In the second half, Bentley began brightly, however Panthers work rate increased and they began to overpower Bentley with some good positive football. Dominic Cella was denied his hat-trick by the linesman’s flag when he headed home, and Panthers had a second goal disallowed for offside when Owen Davies hit a low shot past the keeper when clean through. With the majority of the play in Bentley’s half now, Panthers created a number of chances and it was Lewis Ansell who made the game safe with a low left foot strike to put Panthers 3-1 up with 8 minutes to go.
Another good performance today from the lads against a team from a higher division with some good football played. That’s 4 wins in a row now, and unbeaten since 14 February.
