Wyrley Lions had a fantastic night at Sir Robert Peel pub in Bloxwich for their end of season presentation. There were trophies for all the players, another for all Wyrley Tournament players, medals for all existing players and new players, trophies and certificates for all Snowdon Walkers, even trophies for best supporters !
Parents Player of the Year was awarded to Ryan, who has had a fantastic season in goal for us.
Players Player of the Year was awarded to Will, who is a key team player, keeping all the lads together, and has been a great captain for Lions all season.
And Managers Player of the Year, which was really difficult to pick as everyone has contributed to the team this year with different aspects of their game, but the player who just clinched the award was Cody, for his excellent skills, continuous effort and running, and comittment to the team all year.
Well done to all Lions, we’ve had a great 2010/11 season, you’ve played really well and give 100% – bring on 2011/12 !
