Bunclody AFC visit a great success!!

Last weekend 4 members of the club visited Bunclody AFC, based in a very scenic town 65 miles south of Dublin, Ireland..
The aim of the visit was to secure friendships, discuss a formal link and to view what the club offers its members – and of course to experience the wonderful scenery (and a ‘couple’ of pints of Guinness!).
The visit was a great success, with the welcome and hospitality second to none. Bunclody AFC presented the club with a lovely crystal vase and a club shirt with Wyrley presenting a selection of our scarves, beanies, cuff-links etc.
The club’s 2 managers who went on the trip will give very positive feedback to the club’s managers at the Managers’ Meeting on February 16th.
The next move will then hopefully be for teams to arrange visits to and from Ireland to create an ongoing bond between the clubs who have the same ethos – everyone of any ability to play the game.
