Some more great news! The Club is delighted to hear that it has received a £1000 grant from Nationwide Building Society for its work in creating mutual respect! There were over 600 applicants and we were lucky to be one of the successful 50 winners! The club was recognised for its recent work during Covid in delivering hampers at Christmas and fish and chip suppers on New Years Eve to the lonely and aged in the community. I addition it supported local care homes and NHS staff with PPE and confectionary as well as making cash and donations to local food banks. Much of this fantastic work was carried out by its Youth Committee and playing members.Thank you so much Nationwide! So proud to be Wyrley!
