Of late LK09 have been performing superbly with their precision passing and running onto the ball,today was no exception.Continental attack from the off taking the ball into our half but our defenders handle the pressure and battle on not giving an inch.Superb passing between Tom and Keane which gives Luke a shot at goal but to no avail.LK09 get a throw in which Ethan with his long throw gets it in the penalty area where Harvey controls and turns to fire it into the back of the net.Continental re-group and get a chance at goal which slams into the side netting.LK09 start to enjoy the freedom of the pitch which they create through their work rate and communication.Second half LK09 can taste victory and again entaertain with some lovely end to end football,the work rate from all the lads is 100% ,attempts from Harvey our new lad Ethan,Keane,Harry Allan and Tom but they just cant find the back of the net.Continental chase the game and get the ball in our half and force Logan into making a fantastic double save.Continental pick up the pace and LK09 respond with well timed tackles,constant attacking play and great defending.LK09 push up the field with some intricate passing creating a chance for Luke to slam the ball into the back of the net.Continental never giving in get attempts in the last few minuets of play.Well done to all of you,your effort and work rate is second to none.

Wyrley LK09 v Walsall Phoenix
The pace of the first game didn’t carry on into this game straight away,but with some good passing between Ethan and Harvey creates a chance for Harvey who fires the ball into the back of the net with the outside of his foot within two minuets of kick off.Walsall quickly respond catching our lads off guard and score soon after.LK09 dig deep and pass and move until Harvey gets the ball and twists and turns his player and gets the ball over the line for another goal.Walsall under constant pressure from a LK09 team flowing with confidence concede a corner,Tom gets on the end of Keanes corner with a superb shot but sends it just over the crossbar,attempts for Keane,Harry Allan,Matty and a superb driving effort from Harry all come close but then Harry Allan strikes the ball and it rockets into the back of the net.LK09 get a free kick with all the lads getting a touch but no one could get a clean strike of the ball,with half time approaching Walsall push up and get a chance before the whistle.Second half LK09 penetrate the Walsall defence and Walsalls keeper makes a good save from Keanes volley,the passing continues and Tom battles hard and gets a shot on goal.Walsalls keeper kicks the ball into play and Harry Allan gets on the end of it and strikes the ball with power to put it just over the cross bar,Walsall get the ball and pass it around but soon run into a defensive brick wall,another great game lads.
