Wyrley Veterans played their second round of matches tonight, due to a shortage of regulars Wyrley drafted in replacements who performed admirably at such short notice. First up was top of the table Sporting Khalsa, who performed very well and ran out 6-1 winners, but were helped by a below par performance from Stuart Russell in the Wyrley goal. ( sorry lads ) Second game saw a much improved performance from the Wyrley Keeper and the Wyrley team who recorded a first victory running out 3-1 winners against bottom of the table Hawkins Sports.
