Another season finished and we’re already planning ahead for 2009/10 season!
Highlights of the season just finished: –
36 teams competing – our highest number yet in 27 years
5 League winners and 1 Cup winner with numerous runners up performances
our 12th Annual Tournament was probably our most successful yet
a fresh, revamped and well used website now in place
a vibrant and popular Academy with over 25 boys and girls aged 4 to 7 taking part on Saturday mornings
a very popular girls academy with nearly 30 girls aged 6 to 10 taking part on Wednesday evenings
continued strengthening of our feeder club status with Walsall FC with 15 boys referred and 5 signed up
a number of successful fund raising events including the Fun Day/Fun Run and Abseil events
signing of a 25 year lease over Harrisons Ground, Hazel Lane, Great Wyrley
3 successful Presentation Nights at Banks’s Stadium, Walsall FC
a number of Coach Development and referee development events carried out
professional footballer coaching given during holidays
links made with Community Police to provide free coaching

hopefully revised Planning Permission and funding package finalised for our Long Lane project
increase in teams
maintain our current initiatives!
